ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE (ESL)
ESL classes are for adults age 18 and older whose first language is not English. Courses focus on developing skills in listening, speaking, reading, writing, and grammar.

Classes are offered at the following levels:
Beginning Low, Beginning High, Intermediate Low, Intermediate High, and Advanced.

All new students must attend orientation and take a CASAS placement test to determine their starting level.

How to Register:

·Register online or in person

·Select the appropriate ESL Registration Section

·Schedule a CASAS test by calling (626) 852-8400 or during in-person registration

·CASAS pre- and post-testing is mandatory for enrollment
 

Textbooks and workbooks are available for purchase in the Main Office and/or online.
